The Netherlands Business Council is thrilled to announce the newly launched Business Awards. During the gala event organized on the 8th of November 2024, the Netherlands Business Council will recognize the outstanding contribution of Dutch Business People and companies within the UAE community.
Innovation & Sustainability for startups and SME’s
Designed to honor individuals and organizations that have made remarkable strides in driving innovative solutions with a strong commitment to environmental sustainability.
This award celebrates the visionaries who have pioneered groundbreaking initiatives, technologies, and practices that foster a harmonious balance between progress and the preservation of our planet. By recognizing these remarkable achievements, we hope to inspire and encourage others to embrace innovation as a means to create a sustainable and thriving future for generations to come.
Economic Impact
The Economic Impact Award is dedicated to honoring organizations that have made exceptional contributions to the economic growth and prosperity of the Dutch - UAE business community.
This award recognizes a Dutch company or organization, regardless of its size, that has made a lasting impact on the local landscape through collaboration with an Emirati corporation and significantly strengthened the economic ties between the Netherlands and the UAE while addressing unique local challenges.
Candidates
Candidates for two of the awards are required to submit informative files via an online questionnaire. These files should include a description of their activities, notable track record in the UAE, future projects, and strategy to overcome potential challenges in the UAE market. The questionnaire will be available on the NBC UAE website from August 15th, 2024, to September 30th, 2024.
The Innovation & Sustainability for startups and SMEs Award is open to all Dutch companies that have made remarkable strides in driving innovative solutions with a strong commitment to environmental sustainability. The Economic Impact Award is only open to NBC members.
Our jury will diligently review each submission based on the judging criteria over the next 10 days. Following careful deliberation, the jury will select the winning companies for 2024 in each category. The CEOs of the winning companies will be presented with their awards on stage during the gala dinner, in front of the audience. The winning companies' logos will be displayed on a screen, and the winners in each category will have one minute to deliver a speech.
